So Heartbroken
I’ve been trying to get into Intro to Wood for 3 fucking years and because I’m a fucking Graphic Design major its been impossible. MICA, is it really necessary to have taken Intro to Sculpture first? I’ve even attended several workshops to make sure I knew how to operate the machinery and tools. I just wanna learn some joinery damn it!!!!! And I understand that class can’t be overfilled, and I feel bad that Ken felt so bad he couldn’t let me in. But fuck, in an institution where people are encouraged to explore a variety of media to enrich their focus/life, how is it that the system is set up to make it so difficult to to branch out of your major?
